Car won't start

Try closing your doors, then using the key (not the auto lock fob) lock the doors then using the key again, unlock the door. Try starting the car again, it should work. If not, have it towed to a dealership, they can fix the issue

No fuel when car is hot - won't start

I doubt it is the ECM, that doesn't really make any sense to me. I believe your fuel pump is the issue. What do you mean it isn't on under these conditions? When you do a long errand it start and is fine, right? It is heating up during your drive, then won't start up after your short errand. That's why I ask if a longer errand would be fine, and obviously in cold weather, this would be the same. A longer errand lets it cool down.

Does the engine crank and turn over easily when it is hot? If not, it could just be the battery, but I kind of doubt it. Also, you are using premium 92 octane gas right? That care needs it.

Lastly, if you give it some gas before you start and while you start it, you may get it started. I'd hit the pedal a few times before starting and definitely hit the gas when you start it.

It's not the ECM; I would be shocked.

Good luck!!

2004 Taurus My extra key would not start the car and has not been used for months because of this problem (it would crank but not turn over) so I went to dealer to get a new back up key made (two days...

Need to take it back to the dealer so that they can program both keys correct. there should not be any more charges for this being they did not do it right the first time.

My Jaguar is not getting any gas.

I think the car quit charging and once the battery got down to under 11 volts then there was not enough power to run your ignition system.Put a set of booster cables from someone else's car to yours[make sure not to hook them up wrong post poos neg to neg].Let the two cars just set there charging for 190 minutes or so and then your car should start and run fine if i'm right,if this is the case, get the alternator looked at or get the drive belt to it.
