My 2012 vw cc has had a battery draining problem.. Started when the bass on my rear speakers quit.. What's the solution

Hi
Is there an amplifier in the car somewhere for the sound system? If the problem started when you lost bass to your rear speakers it sounds like the amplifier has developed a fault which would stop the bass coming through the speakers and could drain the battery depending on what fault it has
I hope this helps Nick

My radio stopped working

Could be speaker fuse or fuses esp if played loud with bass turned up worst case is power transistors blown then you may as well scrap it considering cost of repair vs second hand radio. Look at wires coming out of back of radio to speakers for inline fuse holders push and twist to open. There could be a fuse in rear panel of radio. Sorry I can't tell you how to remove the radio

does the new amp you have have a hpf setting if so check to see if thats on, turn off the x-over so it will play both lpf and hpf, bass and treble. are all the speakers wired to the amp aswell, this is the only thing that would stop bass other than the head units settings.
