Question about 1999 Chevrolet Blazer
Then man at walmart said it would be ok but when i put it in it started straight up but now it wont start alarm system not working lock not working is possiable that it blew fuses
A battery cannot blow the fuses. The first thing to check is to see if the new battery is completely dead. You could have a bad alternator. Often, when an alternator fails, it fails due to a shorted diode, which will quickly drain the battery.

The capacity of a battery does not blow fuses,
Shorts and bad connections blow fuses.

No, your battery will not blow fuses. Your battery is only an electrical storage unit. As long as there is no direct short to ground by way of a bare wire or defective and shorted part, the battery wont blow a fuse.
Disconnect the battery ground cable, leave it unhooked for 2 minutes and reconnect. See if the electronics will work. If not, you most likely have another problem.

Likely there is a blown fuse but a battery won't blow a fuse on its own. Change any blown fuses and if that fixes the issue and the fuse doesn't blow for awhile then your ok but if the fuse blows quickly then you have an issue with the electrical system and you need to take it to a shop

SOURCE: 1999 chevy blazer won't start
First of all make sure all your battery connections are Clean and Tight. If they are and all your dash lights come on and its not starting But its cranking over Your anti theft alarm may have gotten activated. You may have to leave your Key in the On position for 20 minutes to reset the alarm. Not cranking just in the on position, Now if its not Cranking and your hearing a clicking sound it may be your starter. I have sometimes tapped on the stater with a deadblow hammer and had someone crank it over Making sure your in park foot on brake and being EXTREMLY Carefull that you are not going to run someone over. If that don't get you going Get back to me we can do some more trouble shooting. Get that thing going for you. Thanks, Bear001

after you replace the fuse try closing the door and put the key in and turn it back and forth locking and unlocking it and see what happens when you use the power lock

check transfer case electrical switch, sometime if it bad it will also blow the fuse. don't recommend you put any higher fuse than recommend, If the fuse blow there is a short some where and by putting higher amp fuse you might short or burn something else beside the fuse. if that check out than check your transfer case motor, might lock up and not allowing the motor to turn instead it short the fuse. don't drive the car, just leave it in park, put correct fuse amp back in and unplug transfer case electric switch and turn the key on (dont start the car) and see if the fuse blow; if not plug it back in and see if it blow the fuse. if that is not the case, unplug transfer case wire, and do the same and see if it blow the fuse.

i have by-passed it but it is not recommended the theft light will stay on all the time ..it sounds though that the body controll is acting up as that controlls the locks and misc dash lights, also common problem is driver side fuse box
