SOURCE: PCV valve location

if i know what you are asking, look at where you put your oil in. on the valve cover to the top right should be a plug with a tubeing runs to your air clear tube where the air mass sensor and carb is located. i think that is what you are looking for.

SOURCE: replace PCV valve 2001 taurus duratec engline

I dont think it is the PCV but its a good idea to replace the PCV at least once a year either way, and its very cheap, usually $2-$5 at autozone.

SOURCE: where is the pcv valve in a 1997 ford escort wagon

If you look at your valve cover its at the back on the right, it comes up and then its an elbow, it comes over the top of the valve cover then down. the PCV valve is either the elbow or the piece in front of the valve cover after the elbow.

Hi, I have a 1998 Ford Escort SE with 2.0

The large end should fit the rubber grommet, so it goes down. The small diameter end should connect to the vacuum line.

Where is the pcv for the 2001 ford escort zx2 2.0 and how do you change it?

With the hood open the valve is at knee level slightly just in front where the transmission bell conects to the engine. In shape it looks like a little elbow. It just slips over the nipple on the PCV valve and the PCV valve is set into the grommet on the canister on the front of the block. --------- this will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Cannot find pcv valve on ford escort engine

You didn't mention what engine you have. If it is the 1.8 litre DOHC engine, it is in the valve cover. Here is the location on the 1.9 liter SOHC engine.
42349820.gif Replacing it is just a matter of popping the old one out and the new one in.

Where is the pcv valve

Generic response.... fords...
PCV valve is on the top of the engine... its input side is connected to a 1 inch diameter hose that goes into the valve cover. The output side goes into the intake manifold. Exact intake connection varies by engine and year/model.

The PCV valve is about the diameter of a thumb and about the same lenght.

Where is the pcv valve located on a 2001 ford escort?

Standing in front of the car looking at the engine, if you look to the lower right corner of the engine, it's almost hidden under the engine there.

There is a black tube connecting to the pcv valve there, pull that up and out and you'll find hte pcv valve there.

If you need pictures, let me know.

1998 Ford Escort

You just need to replace your PCV valve. Unfournately, that is a part only found at a Fordhouse.
