SOURCE: '95 subaru legacy -where is my trans mission fluid dipstick?

is located in the passanger side of the engine. almost right above the universal joint that powers the tires/ it's on the BELL HOUSING if you open the hood and look close you will see a 2 inch curved handle/ it's verry small to see but if you take your time you will see it. the dipstic itself its about 4 inches long . you have to use a funnel and pour the fluid inthe dipstick hole.

SOURCE: subaru legacy wagon

This problem is usually caused when the transfer solenoid/valve assembly goes bad, it's located in the transmission extension housing & needs to be replaced. it can be done without removing the transmission.

SOURCE: subaru legacy fuse 1995

The fuse is only for when you are running a smaller sized spare tire. You have to put one in when you put the spare on to make the car FWD only. Go only far enough to get the tire replaced. Do not drive the car extended distances in FWD.

SOURCE: what oil for my 1995 Subaru Legacy 250T?

I know I will get some argument on this one, but regardless of what manufacturers recommend, the best possible lubricant is a good synthetic. They far exceed any manufacturers needs in both lubricity long life and resistance to thermal changes. they do not burn off or form deposits readily and work in any temperature climate. as far as rating, a 10-40 or 50 works for everything. With synthetics those #s are almost a decoration on the can because in reality they cover a far larger span. Personally I would not use mobil1 (too much additive package not enough real stuff) on the other end, amsoil is one of the best (they even offer a 0w50 oil)
Whatever you use make sure you keep it clean. A good oil filter is essential and if extending oil change intervals, you can just change filter and any oil lost.
I know I've ranted, but the actual lab testing results and notes I've made over the years is far longer!
good luck whatever you decide on!

Where is the location of the starter relay on a 1994 subaru legacy wagon.

The relay should be behind the dashboard and accessible from underneath it. It is a 4 pole relay and blue and white colored. It is next to a silver/white relay to help identify it.

1995 subaru legacy L wagon. drivers side master power window switch stopped working. others work fine. how do I track down the exact problem. it's not a fuse.

You just did. Its the master switch. Buy a switch from a large parts store, use a flat tip screwdriver to remove switch then install new switch. This should take you about 20 mins. Super Easy

95 Subaru legacy wagon manual transmission fluid

The dipstick has a black plastic handle in the shape of ring of about 1 inch in diameter. It is located on the left side of the engine (looking from front) behind the spark plugs. Best visible from the passenger side fender location (start looking from the left part of the transmission , the black handle clearly stands out on the white metal).
