Recheck your wiring for lose wire. check fuel relay. under hood fuse box. when you turn on key pump should only run 3 second. do a fuel pressure test bleed each time you turn off the key. when you turn key on if pressure goes up pump is coming on

the pump is in the fuel tank and sometimes you can hit the bottom of the fuel tank while turning it over and the pump will take off and the engine will run you do need to hit it hard and fast for 30sec maybe more while turning it over it worked for me
I suspect that your fuel system is faulty. Check for a clogged fuel filter, or if your fuel pump don't run at all, replace the "fuel pump relay". Fuel pump may be faulty. Sometimes your fuel pump will run, but be too weak to hold pressure, which will let your car idle somewhat, but be too weak to run the engine at speed or under load.
If you replaced the fuel pump, you may have a line reversed or the fuel filter is backwards. Check for kinks. Make sure the new pump is working too. Sometimes it is possible to get a bad part.
if it worked for a short period of time after doing the pump/sending unit the check the connections going to the pump/sending unit they would have been moved around doing the pump
could this be a immobilisor problem ,no fuel ?? also some of these older vehicles like this had a frequency controlled electrical switch on the top of the petrol tank ,if so check for power to this and then see whats coming out the other side ,you may have to bypass it
Look at the crank Position Sensor and the Cam Sensor as well as check the Timing belt for proper operation, if there is a slack of any type in the timing belt the tension device isn't working properly and is the cause of the problem.
The number one problem with these cars is with clogged fuel filters. They must be changed regularly. When you say it won't start, do you mean it cranks but won't fire? That could be a fuel pressure problem due to a clogged filter.
