Was driving fine stopped at a red light the car made like a grinding noise when i gave it gas it stopped i parked for a cpl minutes went to start ..nothing just a very slow crank then not even that so i changed starter charged battery overnight but now it cranks very slowly

Have same problem with my 1991 Park Avenue. Generally happens after engine is hot.

its the ecm unit i had the exact same thing happen

If the car will not turn over it would not be a fuel system related problem. If it were fuel related it would crank over but would not start.

Too many choice.
3 main areas are fuel, spark, air.
Try a shot of ether, if it fires at all, it is a fuel problem.
Then we can get into more detail.

SOURCE: My 95 Buick regal with 3.8 engine stalls while i am stopping.

Sounds like the EGR valve is bad.
