Chevy engine stamped codes M09014VP

I HAVE A 1981 CORVETTE WITH 1993 350 4 BOLT MAIN MOTOR AND TRYING TO GET INFORMATION ON IT WITH A STAMPED NUMBER M09014VP AND CAN'T GET ANYWHERE SO DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP

SOURCE: 1981 corvette blower motor getting

Check the blower speed control resistor pack, it is located in the air stream near the blower motor, that is most likely the cause of the inop blower, but be warned if the blower is drawing to much current due to wear the resistor will fail again, I believe the connector has four wires, 2 are heavy Gage

It is not the resistor that fails but the little thermal limiter next to the coils of wire that form the resistive element, it is round, looks like a little barrel.

Sure not a problem! I have a '76 Corvette. I use Mid America Motorworks. You may also want to search Ebay. I have purchased a lot of parts from both places, and have never been dissatisfied.

(I was a little skeptical about Ebay at first, but I dealt with those that have Ebay stores, checked their Seller rating, their Feedback score, and posted questions to them. Always got the part I wanted, and pretty darn fast!)

I bought my carpet set, and various steering components from Mid America Motorworks. They send me a catalog about two to three times a year. They have those T-Top gaskets sets for an '81 Corvette. Your Corvette is a C3 like mine.

It is not a serial number it is the casting number for the block they started producing in 1996 and still going
it being a two bolt it was mostly used in trucks

F0524C Chevy engine stamp code My father believes it is 55' 265 Cubic inch out of corvette. It doesnt have oil filter on block.

I have not found this number but it is either a 55, 56, or 57 engine, measure the bore (3.75") to determine if it is a 265 (4.3L) Corvette engine codes are located on the front of block just below the right hand cylinder head, they are as follows, F255GR, F55FG, F55YG so your engine is not out of a 1955 Corvette.

From this chart - I think you may be misreading the number - 3970010 is possibly the actual number: Which makes the engine pretty old 68-72 350 V8 - 4 bolt main. I included past this number so that you can see that the number you posted doesn't actually exist. And thus my conclusion that the 9 is most likely a 0. I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A GM 5.0LG SGI ENGINE, WITH REAR NUMBERS ON BELL HOUSING # 14093627. but the numbers on the stamp deck in on left side just below head is # V1014TBA . i cant tell if this is a truck...

site i use for casting numbers is down at the moment
far as if a camaro motor would work in your truck yes small blocks between trucks and cars the same
there are 2- bolt main blocks
and there are 4-bolt main blocks
2 and 4 bolts are used in cars
and 2 and 4 bolts are used in trucks
main differance between truck motors and car motors are the add ons intake exhaust manifolds
heads the blocks them self are the same
trucks are usally geared lower but that in the tranny and rear end not in the motor

Where do i find engine serial number for a chevy caprice motor

if you have the engine out itheir is a vin num stamped on the rear of the heads ,olso if its a small block shuch as a 350 327 305 or even the 400 small block90% of the engine parts are enter changeable,
their shoulf also be a vin number stamped on the block right above the top bolt of the water pump on the drivers side
