My 2000 s10 airconditioning will not wok have aleady changed relay, the fuse is good compressor comes on but it still blows hot air . tried to fill w freon , but would not take canisters were...

Hello: Check and make sure the air mix door is in the A/C position, air mix door is sometimes called the blend door. If it is a manual system follow the cable that is connected to the lever that goes from red (hot) to blue (cold) see if it moves the door when you move the lever on the control.

MY AC ON 2003 FORD MUSTANG BLOWS HOT AIR AND DONOT HAVE OWNER MANUEL TO SEE IF FUSE BLOWN

The most common cause for an AC blowing hot air is the system is low on refrigerant. A small leak will eventually lose refrigerant until the compressor eventually will shut down. Most compressors require a minimum of 20psi to engage and chill the air. Most certified service stations can diagnose and recharge most systems for $100-150 depending on where the leak is. There are do it yourself kits available at most auto parts stores that come complete with leak detector (R-134A with dye to show where leaks are) compressor oil, and a recharge hose.

A/c blows out hot air

Hi,
I had a similar problem with my Corolla. My compessor clutch wasn't engaging when I turned on the AC and the fuse was good. I suspected the worst and prepared to face a replacement of a compressor, but found out the fault was an AC relay switch.

This link from Autozone, will give you a picture and price of the switch:

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/parts/partsShelf.jsp?displayName=Relay+-+A/C+Clutch&currentPage=1&categoryDisplayName=Electrical+%26+Lighting&navValue=15701663&itemId=1663-0&parentId=57-0

My relay switch was located under the hood. Check your users manual.
I hope this is your fix... a compressor is costly!
Good luck...

Air conditioner not blowing cold air. We put coolant with gauge reading 25 lbs pressure. We think the compressor is coming on. The pipe coming out of the compressor is cool but, the air coming into the car...

Is the air actually blowing into the car?But it's just hot?It sounds like your blower motor is not turning to blow air.you have a fuse, check the switch that controls the blower, and the blower motor it self.

A/C compressor blows hot air

If the fuse is the problem it's located under the hood near the relay inside the rely box but I think you have a problem with the blend door not the fuse, if the compressor is turning and the fan is blowing then it also most certainly be a vacuum motor not functioning.

My air conditioning blows hot air. Won't accept

Is the system low on Freon? If not, you most likely have a bad A/C compressor, or a bad low pressure switch.
