Remove door panel, then unbolt handle. Verify no screws in door panel then yank. Screws probably in armrest and by door handle, maybe under switch pod lid

Hi Kathryn, I'm glad to help! CAUTION: If you have "ACTIVE HEADREST" you will want to unhook the negative battery cable. NOTE: You'll also need to take the back of the seat cover off and unplug the connector going to the active headrest. Then simply push the release button on the side of the headrest and pull it upward and out of the seat. "HOWEVER" If you do not have the active headrest, then simply push the release and pull upward out of the seat. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Kathryn.
You can access the oil filter easily from underneath next to the front, driver-side wheel at the front of the engine. There is clear access to the filter there.
