You need to have the battery load tested and then you need to check the alternator and be sure it is putting out about 13.8 volts and at least 30 amps. turn the A/C on and the amps should jump to about 50 when switched on,this will tell you if the alternator is charging correctly. If both are ok you need to check for parasitic draw on the electrical system.

SOURCE: 83 Chevy Silverado 454, New Battery & Starter- Won't Start?

first check if fuel is getting into the throttle body...take the air cleaner off and have someone press the accelerator while you watch for fuel to squirt into the throat. if there is no fuel then look at fuel delivery problems. If you do have good fuel flow then take out a spark plug and examine it for fouling or possible flooding. If it isn't then proceed to check for a spark. put the spark plug into the spark plug wire but NOT in the engine. with gloves on and wire and YOU are away from moving engine parts and belts and away from the area where you removed to spark plug. Place the top part of the spark plug and make it contact a solid metal part that has a good contact to the chassis...to allow for a return path for the spark. you can hold the wire far from the spark plug to avoid a shock. have an associate start the truck and make sure its producing a nice white or blue spark....red sparks are weak and no sparks is of course ignition issues. hopefully this will help with moving on with troubleshooting. we would need more info to move on or spend a month listing all the possibilities. :-)

SOURCE: battery on 2007 chevy impala died last week

Take it back to the place where you bought it and have them test it. Not all 'new' batteries are perfect. Many can be defective from the factory or damaged during shipping etc.

SOURCE: my check engine light is on my chevy aveo 2005

What is the code? Auto Zone uses cheap scanners, but the code is what you need. For example if you get a P1651 OBDII code the sensor that controls the fan relay could be running the cooling fans at night when the car is turned off and running down your battery. For a few bucks your local GM dealer can scan it for you, and you should have the answer. If you just get the code's Write them down, If you don't have a service manual, search the net for OBDII with the code# and that should narrow the problem down to circuit that is causing the problem. Hope this help.

SOURCE: 2003 chevy impala ls starts then stalls

I have replaced the radiator in my 2003 Chevrolet Impala LS. The car started running hot and shut down. Took it to a radiator shop and found a crack in the radiator. I have replaced 2 thermostats in the car already. I noticed water running from under my car today and it seems it was coming back out of the overflow. I am stumped as to what is going on with this car.

it is your ignition module. Its located underneath your where your plug wires connect called ignition coils.
I think you have to use a 5/16 socket to remove the long bolts.
I had the same problem on my 2000 Impala LS.

My 2001 chevy impala dies while i am driving it. i have replaced the battery, the alternator, and the starter. my battery light stays on even with a brand new alternator installed, then the car dies and...

Look for a big red wire thats connected to the big post on the starter.Follow that wire up to the alternator. That wire should have battery voltage there all the time. If it does not, check that the fusible link, which is in that wire is not burnt or broken.
