My car wont start I have already replaced the starter...the car just clicks I was wondering where the starter relay was on my 2003 RS eclipse
I would check to battery and connections to it.
If the solenoid is ckicking that means you are getting power to the started just not enough AMPS .to turn it.
Hi Cristina , If the starter solenoid clicks it's not the relay ! more then likely you have bad battery positive cable or a ground problem . You need to do a starter circuit voltage drop test , this is the best way to find out electrical gremlins ! Rather then just throwing parts at it ! Starter Voltage Drop Test Explained in Plain English AutoTechnician org This is the way a professional Tech. does it .
Jump the wires on the starter solenoid, while its in park and you should be able to start it,with the key on
The starter relay has to be close to the battery and the starter.
Trace the Plus cable from the battery, it will lead you to the relay.
Hope this helps.

It could possibly be a battery with no or very low amps. I would get it checked by a dealer or many auto parts stores have battery testers.

Even though I bought the vehicle new, there was an aftermarket security system installed. The system had a bad diode, so i removed the system and reconnected the factory wires.

yes it has anti theft check in your owners manual on how to reset
sounds like there is a dead spot in the starter. i think the other stuff may not have needed to be replaced. when the car won't start, have someone try to start while you TAP the starter with a hammer.- probably the starter, though.

If the clicking sound is coming from the engine bay, from the relay, you may want to have the starter itself checked out. You need to check if the ground cable from the engine to the chassis is secured. If that is OK, you may want to have the starter motor checked.
