Replace check engine light bulb

That is not possible, if it shows power then there is no reason for it not to light, check the bulb with a meter, could be bad, then check ground

Have you checked for power to the bulb socket with a voltmeter? Is there a good ground?

Replace the fuse,and check the lights (tail lights) to make sure they are working ,and if not,inspect to see if the bulbs,or bulb is the reason for the short.

You will have to pull the dashboard display out and check to see if the bulb has blown or has been removed for some reason.

dont worry about it ,perhaps the bulb has blown ,if car runs ok leave well alone

If the brake light works, disconnect battery negative with ignition key ON and Radio ON, but engine OFF, four minutes after connect Battery terminal, do not panic if terminal sparks wile connecting, *** it well turn ignition key OFF, than start the motor and verify
if problem remains

Why don't you ask the REAL question you want the answer to...I think we all know you are looking for the way to reach the check engine light to break it, not replace it! Who REPLACES the check engine light?? That's just retarded.
