TIGHTEN THE BATERRY CONNECTORS AND CHECK ALL GROUND WIRES AT THE ENGINE.LET ME KNOW IF U FOUND SOMETHING.

The radio is in Lock-Out mode. You only get two attempts to enter the code, then it enters Lock-Out mode.
Put the key in ignition and turn on the radio for an hour (maybe a bit more). The radio should reset itself after about an hour and then you can re enter the code.

The thermostat on your volkswagon helps the engine keep operating at a predetermined temperature for best fuel economy and engine performance. However, the thermostat mechanism wears down after months of use and subsequently fails. If stuck in the closed position, the thermostat will not allow coolant to circulate, causing the engine to heat up dangerously; if stuck in the open position, the engine will never reach proper operating temperature, causing fuel consumption and poor engine performance. before going to a garage if you can find a mobile electrician on yellow page it would be ideal i'm a mechanic not an electrician get a diagnostic check i'm sure he or she will give you a solution or don't just take it to the garage yet most probably they will also get a motor electrician in and have it checked them selves you will believe me HAVE TO PAY ATLEAST DOUBLE that amount oh by the way what is the mileage and what engine oil do you use
