All 4 power windows don't work - 1993 BMW 3 Series

the master window lock switch is stuck on the off possition test for power in and out, remove and replace

Switches are probably shot,

#1. ARE THEY POWER
#2. ALL WINDOWS DON'T WORK????
*** IF POWER AND NO WINDOWS WORK...GO TO FUSES, RELAYS, AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS!! ALSO MAKE SURE NO WINDOWS ARE BINDING...POWER WINDOWS ARE A "HEAVY DRAW" ITEM..IF STUCK OR BINDING, THEY WILL BLOW FUSES BREAKERS VERY FAST

I don't see how the engine overheating could have been involved since all three components are on different circuits.
Unless something happened to a power source under the hood such as a fuseable link wire.
You will need a book to find the wiring diagrams to test the circuits.
Sometimes you can get the diagrams from the online auto parts stores such as auto zone.

i would ck the driver front window switch

Replace your power window switch. ( The whole unit where all of your switches are for all four windows)

Im thinking its a fuse OR relay check owners manual for locations

your alternator may be controlled by the PCM, engine computer.

My power window fuse don't work. the window goes down never came up
