Emergency flasher switch

The Hazard Warning flasher switch is located in the center of the instrument panel above the radio. Press the switch to turn on the Hazard Warning flasher. When the switch is activated, all directional turn signals will flash on and off to warn oncoming traffic of an emergency. Press the switch a second time to turn off the Hazard Warning flasher. This is an emergency warning system and should not be used when the vehicle is in motion. Use it when your vehicle is disabled and is creating a safety hazard for other motorists. When you must leave the vehicle to seek assistance, the Hazard Warning flasher will continue to operate even though the ignition switch is OFF. NOTE: With extended use, the Hazard Warning flasher may wear down your battery. http://cdn.dealereprocess.com/cdn/servicemanuals/chrysler/2010-townandcountry.pdf

How do I replace flasher switch?

IIRC on audis it is behind the hazard warning button. You have to remove the trim and then the hazard warning flasher assembly.
Check with your dealer for the part.

Turn signals not working

The turn signal flasher and the hazard flasher are both integrated in to the hazard warning switch on the dash, this is acually called a Hazard Warning module. There is a GM bulliten for this,it is acually a recall for the complaint your having; the GM bulletin # 03043A and the dealership will replace the Hazard Warning switch module at no charge to you, GM knows about the failing switch and that is why they issued the recall on them, so i suggest you bring that car into the dealership so they can replace it at no charge parts and labor, bring the campaign number that i gave you that way theres no guesswork.oh and it only takes about 10 min to replace.

Good luck (remember rated this).

Where does the flasher go on a 98 chevy malibu

Replacement The turn and hazard flashers are integrated into one flasher on these models. The flasher is located in the hazard warning switch and the hazard warning switch is located on the trim plate. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one, removing it from the panel, and plugging in the new one.
  1. Remove the bezel from the ignition switch.
