Reverse lights not working on 2011 Hyundai I20 1.4

If the fuses are fine I would pull the bulbs out of the fog lights and check them to see if they are burnt out you could also use a test light on the bulb holder turn the fog lights on in the vehicle take test light and test both tabs in the connector one should have power and other side will not if bulbs look good and there’s no power coming to the bulb connector the switch might be bad or could have a break in the wires coming from the switch. Hopefully this will help

Does bulb socket have a ground wire, or just uses mounting point as ground? Check for voltage at each part of system. Start with fuse, then switch both in and out of reverse, then bulb.

More than likely its bulbs .

After checking for power at the fuses for these circuits, I would check for power at the multi-function switch. Everything but the parking lights is wired thru that turn signal switch.

all fuses good ?is it an auto or standard ?do you have a test light to see if there is power going back there if its an auto maybe a safety neutral switch if its a standard maybe the eswitch on the gear box

run the fault codes but a fried ECM and alternator are distinct possibilities

it could be the switch in the shifter selector

try the brakelight switch, it is right near the pedal above the footpad

check bulbs first/ then you can check fuses usually under dash or in the engine compartment/Please rate my response thank you very much

Additionally check the reverse switch and its wiring/connectors. The reverse switch is located at the transmission. This is also part of the neutral start switch assembly. This page would give you additional insight.
