SECURITY AND TRACTION LIGHTS ON CAR WONT START

Spend another load on money at a chevy dealership to get it repaired.

I would think you have more than one problem. The ABS and traction lights mean those systems are disabled and they work together. So if one is out the other will be too. You probably need to have the systems checked for trouble codes.
As for the no start, if it is a no crank situation you would need to know if the starter has battery power when the key is in the start position. Could be a security problem, the neutral safety switch, or several other possible causes.

you really need an auto electrician to have a look at this because it is too complicated for a written answer.

I would put the old stereo back in, many cars and likely this one need the factory system for the security system to function correctly. You can also call this company for help, there may be a kit. www.crutchfield.com

could be turn key forward dont bump starter wait for security light to go out then try to start if security light is not on check your starter and wires going to it the small one is most common but both go bad

Check the battery terminals real good.Make sure they are clean and tight.Check and see if any of the side terminals are leaking. As far as the blower motor.It is more than likely that the blower motor resistor is bad.It is located by the blower motor.Hope this helps.Good luck.

traction switch is located next to drivers left knee on bottom of dash....you should be able to turn off the traction light there by just turning on the traction control.....the security light is telling you that there is a problem with your security system....could just need a new key with a new computer chip....make sure the key is clean and dry when using so it can read the chip....the security light comes on whenever your start the car and stays on for approximatley 2 minutes and then should go out....it is just a reminder....try this and see if it works....lock the door using the power switch on door.....close door and see if the security light comes on....watch and it should go out after about 2 minutes...if it does then your alarm is activated and working....to disarm you need to unlock the driver door with the key...anything else will set the alarm off and the lights will start flashing and the horn honking...after you set the alarm off you will always have to use the key to unlock the drivers door to turn off the alarm and reset the security system.

try disconnecting battery terminals for 15 min and reset computer

the car should still start even with somthing wrong with the traction control. sounds like you have a dead battery. i would check it first. and if battery is dead charge it and start the car then take it to your local advance auto and have the altinator checked thay do it for free. if a charged battery dont start the car then you may have a bad starter. again the traction control light will not keep the car fromk starting

take it to a shop and have them diable the security system
