No one will talk about this problem, apearently my 2011 F-150 eco-bost is considerd a throw away truck. Fill her once or twice then pitch it. This will be my last ford product after a long string of fords.

YEP YOUR KEY TRANSPONDER IS READ THROUGH THE KEYLOCK CYLINDER READ COIL BY IMMOBILIZER CONTROL MODULE BEFORE CAR WILL START.IF CARRIER FREQUENCY SIGNAL IS NOT 100 - 150 KHZ RANGE CAR WONT START.YOUR CAR HAS TRANSPONDER KEY.MOST ALL LATE 96 TO 2011 VECHICLE CAR KEYS HAVE TRANSPONDER KEYS TO STOP CAR THEFTS.

this is just a suggestion but the steering wheel lock may be malfunctioning try while whith your left hand jerking your steering wheel counter clock wise while jostling your ignition with your keys securely in the ignition towards the start direction. this may not be it but it does happen

no nice way to do this, but a pair of vise grips to get a good grip on the key and a SMALL hammer ,pull out on vice grips and tap vice grips with hammer at the same time

Replace your ignition switch or your key may get stuck in that posotion makeing it harder to replace
