Turn key ON but do not start. Press the gas pedal to the floor three times. Turn key OFF. Thats it. You should be good to Go. If it didn't work...try it again.

To reset your maintenance reminder system (even if the light hasn’t come on yet), you’ll need to turn your key to on (but don’t start!) and make sure your odometer is on TRIP A. Then key off. Press and hold the Odometer/Trip button. While holding down on the button, key the ignition to on (Don’t start the engine!) The display panel will count down from “------“ to “-“Continue pressing the button until the Trip A is displayed. After this step, you are done.

the computer has a built in oil service light that will glow every 5k to remind you its time to have an oil service whatever oil you use.on this type of vehecle i have always reckoned using semi synthetic oil because of the cost.and changing it every 5k in heavy use.

I had the same problem back in February. It sounds like your sensor is gone. I went to a Dodge dealer , and charged me $300 to replace it. If you can , try to find another place to help fix your problem. Good-luck!
