Behind the side cover. You don't have to remove the transmission to get it, but it does have to be lowered enough the get the cover off. It does require removing the valve body. There are check balls in it that will fall out.

These cars have an Amplifier to run the speakers. The amp is normally in the truck between the rear 6x9 speakers. The amp is probably fried. You can buy bypass wire harnesses on Ebay that will bypass the failing amp, or simply get a new one.

if this has the 3.8 or similar, go under alternator to access the back left plug, then work from top of engine and remove whats necessary to get to other 2 plugs. use a spark plug socket and 3/8 ratchet to remove the plugs. and universal if need be. good-day !

Draw your own before you take the old belt off. Its easy and saves trying to find a diagram that might not even be right for your model .

The speakers are removed by going through the trunk are.

There will be a cover over then held by some screws, and the speakers are held in plac eby 4 screws.

the sub panal doesnt come off seperate you will break it if you try and you will need to remove the whole side panal its e-z afer the panals removed good luck and remember dont force or pull to hard
