I have a 1986 MR2 the other day warning lights came on,alt.reading droped?

Before you start looking a the fuse box, make sure of 2 things: do you have power and a good ground at the light housing. Then, make sure that the door switches are grounded good, and are actually working. If no power, get back to me and I will get you to the fuse box, altho I doubt that the fuse box is the root cause.

You likely have a blown fusible link wire that goes from the battery and feeds the alternator and parts of the fuse panel.If there is no link at the battery then look for a small black fuse panel that in next to the battery and test the fuses there.
