I have 03 saturn vue auto trans all wheel drive. im having problems with the remote security system. interior light was on went and unlocked with remote checked light then locked with remote then security system went off i then turned off with remote then a few seconds later it wented off again. i did this over and over., i ended up unhooking battery. i dont know how to reset securty system

Replace the transmission and sell it...These vues 2003 and 2004 with the varitrack trannies were junk you may be eligible for a class action lawsuit if you live in a state where they have filled it.

The easy part is you just need the latch for the liftgate. The hard part is getting to it and opening the liftgate to replace the latch. You should be able to pull the liftgate trim off most of the way with the gate closed and try to manually actuate the latch to open the gate. You may have to go so far as breaking the latch from the inside to open the gate and then replace your latch.

sounds like a throttle sensor fault do to the fact that the saturn vue doesnt idle at 500 normally its uaually between 600-800. i suggest getting it hooked to a diagnostic machine to find wat the codes are cause im sure it will be several.
