My left turn signal won't turn off on my 2000 Chevrolet Tracker. It appears that although the sound seems to be there when I try and switch to the right signal, it is not working and the left signal continues to flash all the time. Is there a way to stop the flashing and is the problem a switch?

More than likely it is going to be your clock spring behind the steering wheel.
SOURCE: Turn signal does not flash right or left. Where is flasher unit?
yes it is the same. the problem is most likely the turn signal switch which is located on the steering column. be sure to check all fuses, relays, and bulbs first. keep me posted thanks

the flashing is genreally controlled by a relay switch in your car. probably the fuse for your relay is blown or your realy itsef might need to be replaed.

My wipers were doing very strange things like you have suggested. I removed the outer cover from the wiper motor and inspected the solder joints. There were at least three cracked solder joints. I took out my soldering iron and re-soldered ALL if the connections on that board, no need to remove the wiper motor from the truck. After that, I haven't had a single problem.
A flasher will flash quickly when a bulb is burnt or not drawing power. Check to see if there is damage to a wire at the right rear signal, or if you have power there. If you put in a new bulb and it does not light, there is likely a wire issue somewhere near that light. Make sure the contacts are not corroded or this will cause the same problem.
