Steering angles? id like to know the steering angles.

I know this VDC is commonly due to a steering angle sensor.
You need to use an ABS scan tool and check for the following codes.
C1143 (steering angle sensor circuit)
C1144 (steering angle sensor signal)
C1156 (steering angle sensor com cir)
C1163 (steering angle sensor safe)

dont try removing the steering wheel as the airbag will cause this to be a problem , adjust the tracking until the wheel is in the position you want , make sure you adjust the track rods equally on each side , this is a little bit of trial and error if your doing it your self ,

The steering angle sensor is faulty and should be replaced. Once replaced it will need to be coded with a special tool. There is not a way to reset the sensor without the special tool.

If you get a Ford IDS system, things will get easier.

This is best done by an alignment shop, (basically the car goes on a hoist or jack, and lifted off the ground, the technician straightens your steering and then adjust the Caster, Trust Angle and camber back to manufacturers specifications.. you can read about it here http://carguideblog.com/388/what-you-need-to-know-about-car-alignment-car-alignment-101/

this is not something you should do on your own as you will always be off angle without the proper equipment and cause damages to the tires, ends and other rubbers.

remove steering wheel after steering there is on plastic ring which contain one strip remove that ring and make it round till left or rh side till end and then place ti back with same steering position to lh or rh it and fix it back it will solve your problem, if any issue please let me know. thanks

For recode the steering angle sensor you must connect a diagnosis scantool to the data link connector of the car in order to access the ESP ECU (Electronic Control Unit), in other words programm again the steering angle sensor in the ESP ECU. Select the steering angle sensor programming (learning) menu, and follow the steps: put steering wheel in straight direction, then turn steering wheel to the left direction less 15 degrees, then to the right direction less 15 degrees, put steering wheel in straight direction again until the programming was done. Then the ESP light will turns OFF.

this vehicle uses a steering control module and the antilock control module. Both modules get a signal from the steering angle sensor. We found that the steering module didnot show a steering sensor code but the ABS module did show the code.
after checking that the wiring was intact and with good continuity, it was determined that the fault lies in the ABS module.
A new ABS module and configuration confirmed the diagnosis. It's fixed!
