TCC solenoid is a small electrical switch easily accessed by removing transmission oil pan. Solenoid is easily unplugged an replaced. Check internet, i.e. youtube for insructional video.
To replace the solenoids in question remove the transmission pan,There you remove the electrical connector noting each location for reinstalation, reomve transmission filter, remvoe valve body and accumulators,(note the size and location each has different springs),Here you will have access to the solenoid,
The solenoids are located inside the transmission. It would required removing the side cover on the driver side. Before getting to that point the left axle has to be remove and you will need to lower the subframe enough to get the cover out.
We do not have diagrams of this setup, but the shift solenoids are all one piece or rack of solenoids you could say, they are located inside the transmission attached to the valve body of the transmission, to access them you must remove the pan on the bottom of the automatic transmission.
Remove the transmission pan, remove the transmission shifting assembly (19 10 mm head bolts) -- don't worry it will not fall apart -- there are three star shaped screw heads so be sure you have a tool to remove these -- DO NOT TIP the assembly as there are floating ball valves within it -- remove the top plate, take out the clip, replace solenoid & replace the unit -- BE SURE YOU NOTE WHICH OF THE WIRES GO WHEREFROM THE SOLENOID, PRIOR to removeal of the shifting assembly....
the clicking is the start relay which u don't hear unless the starter doesn't work, u have a defective starter solenoid, the internal contacts are burned, this is a NipponDenso style starter and they all have this same problem, u can replace the starter, replace the starter solenoid or replace the copper contacts in side the solenoid for around $12.00 USD
Most transmission solenoids are located within the pan. If you replace the solenoids then it would be a good idea to change out the wiring harness that runs from the main transmission plug to the solenoids. Just lower the pan and drain it. Then, remove the one or two bolts that hold the solenoids in place. Replace the solenoids, wires, transmission filter and fluid at the same time (since you're already there). Make sure that you use a new pan gasket when you put the pan back on or it will leak fluid. Good Luck!
your starter, solenoid or ignition is no good. but my first choice,i think your solenoid is shorted because when you hook up the battery,it cranks but does not start.that means your ignition switch is still working.
