I know a website that has
every info on all vehicles and vehicle problems (common/basic and technical both), with their solution In detail.. it's www.reliable-store.com
13 year old vehecles are wearing out,and these are common problems,,Check for spark at the coils if you have a small coil on each spark plug like some do than you need to know how to test each one,,,If you get spark now see if you are getting spark to each spark plug,,,if that pans out and you are I would have a pressure test done to the fuel pump, this you will have to take to a mechanic with the proper tools, You probly have well over 100k on this so anything is possible as to going wrong
Two of the most common problems for a no spark condition on your truck are a bad coil, or a bad crank sensor. However, you will need a lab scope to accurately diagnose the crank sensor. The PCM could also be at fault, but is very unlikely.
Its the same thing except it says GMC on the front. The most common issues with either of them is ABS problems, wheel bearings, ball joints, intake gaskets, plugged heater cores, injector issues, fuel pressure regulators, fuel pumps, catalytic converters, wiper motors, window motors, 4x4 issues, and the list goes on.
Wet weather start problems can usually be traced to the spark shorting to ground before making it to the spark plug. This can sometimes be fixed by using a water proofing silicone spray available at your local auto store but I suggest you replace the plugs ,wires, cap, and rotor (if so equipped on this model and year) and then spraying with the silicone. The spark is shorting to ground somewhere so you may as well do it all if you haven't replaced them for a while.Good luck
A common plroblem on the 2.0 engine cars is the distributer, try changing that, if that doesnt work their is a sensor in the block right behind the oil filter than can cause the no start issue, but its not as common
