You might have leak in heater matrix, or could just be over fill, they have overflow pipes that disperse excess water back down through the engine bay, can sometimes look like you have a leak when in fact you over filled. as a temp measure, you can use a thing called RADWELD... but if it's cleared up and your coolant level is ok.. then.... if it aint broke-don't fix it. do keep an eye on it though. good luck Red.
SOURCE: Freelander 2005 Coolant warning light stays on
You can disconnect your vehicle's negative battery cable and leave it disconnected for about 20 minutes, and it should reset the code causing the coolant light to come on. If you disconnect the battery cable you will also have to reset your clock, any pre-programmed radio stations, ect. in the vehicle as well.
I hope this helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.
SOURCE: we have a water leak in the drivers footwell of
I have a discovery 3 and I had the same problem with water in the footwell. The problem was blocked drain holes on the sunroof. The water overflows from the sunroof onto the headlining ( which is plastic coated so the water will not come through it) and then ran down the headlining to the "A" pillar. It ran down the back of the "A" pillar trim and then came out of the joint between the trim lower down by the door hinge area.
SOURCE: water leak above sun visor sunroof seals seem ok
If the sunroof seal is ok, then it is possibly entering by the roof bars, put a little silicon sealant around the roof bar where it meets the roof, you can find black silicon from any hardware shop, and the same goes , if you have a roof antenna. Hope that helps
