The only matter there should be in the throttle body is air. The throttle body in no way has anything other than "nothing" in it. The liquid you see could be the gasoline you threw into the throttle body.
Getting back to your problem. Do NOT have someone looking down the throttle body while you are trying to start the engine. That person may receive a haircut he will never forget! Get the battery charged. Try to start the engine because even though you think you put too much gas in the throttle body, it may start.
The tricky part. If the engine starts and runs for a few seconds, then you are having a problem with fuel delivery and that is the fuel pump most of the time but not always.. If it does not start at all, try one more time to pour gasoline into the throttle body, hold your foot about 1/2 way down on the pedal and then try again to start it. If it still doesn't start, it's time to check for spark.
Testimonial: "vincent. everything you say makes perfect sense. i have checked for spark and have it. also pulled each plug to inspect and noticed they were nearly dry. certainly not wet. so now looking at fuel delivery. -IF- I have the right line for the gas supply. it definitely is not feeding. but i do here the prime when i turn the key. can the fuel pump still be defective?"
Did the car try to start when you poured the fuel into the intake?
no it didn't (I'm sorry went out of town a couple days). Now, I have discovered since then. I had tye wrong line for fuel & discovered i am getting fuel.??? Also getting spark???
recently i had replaced fuel pump relay, and ignition coil within 6 mos. when i had a no start before. - that resolved the issue. I just dont know what else is left. it ran . i ran out of gas. put gas in it. and no start

If you have spark and you primed the engine by pouring fuel into the throttle body, the vehicle should at least kick like it is trying to start. Usually, it runs for a short period of time and then dies. If it is not doing anything other than cranking with the prime and you have a good spark, the problem is somethingh else. Make sure when you crank it with the prime that you keep your foot about 1/2 to 3/4 the way down on the accelerator.
use starter fluid if it trys to start check fuel filter then pump
when you say good spark? is there a bad spark? what i'm doing now is picking up a new battery . Charging the other one just wasn't cutting it. I am hoping that will be it . because i think unless my timing belt broke or something there isnt anything left that i know of. someone did mention a fuel regulator, however in my research i'veyet to find one. Vincent I really appreciate your help. everyones inpurt. I believe we'll have success. i think this system works. In try to do my part and solve questions in areas that im familiar with. . I'll let you know how this goes. probably be this evening. Thanks again
