ok did you had it scan what you can do is check for vacuum leak at the intake manifold,then check for leak around the egr valve,check your air filter it may be clogged,how is your fuel pressure,check the timing you may also have a worn camshaft lobe,and change your map sensor but before you do check the hose on the map sensor sometime they get musshy or it may be almost off

I don't list a map sensor for that model.
I do list a MASS sensor which measures air flow between the air filter and the throttle body.

Vacuum leak . cleaned MAP ?????? Do you mean mass air flow sensor ? Can't clean a MAP sensor .
Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .

try checking the map sensor connecting wires

the transmission will bolt up fine I think you may need a longer driveshaft as the 4l80 is a longer tranny. measure both transmissions and see for sure other than that should be an easy swap.

MAP SENSOR, TPS,PCV VALVE. Start with the pcv valve first.

Alright I think I might have the same problem. I am trying to add the photos of where the sensor is but I am not sure it is going to work. If the pics do not come through, then just look to the left of the transmission dip stick and I believe it is the on the back side of the engine. It has a red clip that is holding on the wires to the sensor and it is the left one of the two clips back there. Also before replacing the sensor check out the link below. Another person was having the same problem and fixed it without replacing the sensor. The guy helping him said that if you have bad spark plugs or wires it could trip the MAP sensor trouble code. Hope this helps.

Beside of the ignition coil. on the intake.
Is a litle sensor with a connector of 3 wires.
