SOURCE: BACK DOOR HANDLE BROKEN.. HOW CAN I OPEN?..OR REPAIR?

I have had the same issue twice...My mechanic was able to open the hatch from the outside using an offset screwdriver. When the handle breaks you have a small opening that you can insert the offset screwdrive in...You can feel around and find the actual trigger that releasese the lock....You have to push down on it...and puff it will open..

The reason this happens is that the lock gets gummed up and rusts...It is a porr design...I make sure I lubricate at least once a month to enssure it does not get gummed up

SOURCE: 2003 Toyota Tundra Limited Stepside truck. No Brake light

Hello.

We would suggest that you look at the wiring connector under the bed, that feeds the taillamps.

You will probably find a coroded wire in the connector. If the 3rd brake lamp works, all of the fuses and switches are good.

Testimonial: "All connectors were fine. It ended up being that both brake light blubs blew at the same time. Thanks"

3. Within 15 seconds depress and release accelerator pedal 5 times.

4. Within 20 seconds depress and release the brake pedal 6 times and remove key.

5. Within 10 seconds insert New Key into ignition but do not turn it.

6. Within 10 seconds depress and release the accelerator pedal 1 time.

7. Now sit and wait for about one minute until the security light in the center counsel stops blinking and turns off.

8. Remove new key and depress and release brake pedal 1 time.

This procedure is for 2002 Camry and most other models in this year of Toyota. In the future always give the model as well as year and make. Thanks

I have a low brake pedal on 2003 toyota 4runner

Did you also change the brake pads? Add fluid to top of reservoir?

Was the brake pedal low before you changed the calipers or is this something that developed after you worked on the car? If it was there before the caliper change then it has nada to do with the work you did.

U might have a bad master cylinder.

2005 sequoia limited and just new rotors and pads on front and refaced rotars and break pads in the back. Brakes make noise when shifting from park to drive or reverse and vice versa. Any idea the cause?

I have heard that Toyota's are sensitive to off brand brakes. IF you did not use Toyota brake pads, you might need to wait and see if it goes away with time. If not use Toyota pads.

2003 toyota abs light Codes C1203, C1223

C1223 - Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Input Signal is 0 C1203 - The procedure for this fault is to check for an open or short in the harness and connector between the Skid control ECU and ECM.If no faults are found with the wiring, then - the MIL stays off when ignition on but engine not running (Requires ECM replacing)
- the MIL comes on when ignition on but engine not running (requires ABS & traction actuator assembly)
These parts wont be cheap so i hope its a wiring fault smile.gif
If you take it to a Toyota dealership they should be able to do this for you pretty easily.

2003 Ford Ranger Pickup traveling down the road

Is there somthing hitting the gas pedal, like the floor mat? Or maybe something under the dash came loose and is getting caught under the brake pedal and pushing on the gas. Put the shifter in neutral if you get into a situation where going to hit something or someone. The engine has a rev limiter, to prevent it from over reving.

Just bought 2003 Toyota Sequoia and find that the brakes are very spongy feeling. Traveling at 45, I pushed on the brakes with about 80% of my strength and still couldn't feel them bite. Two different...

Hi. To answer your question, No. The Sequoia has great braking ability, assuming that the brakes have been maintained. Most likely, your rear brake shoes may not be adjusted properly, and that means that the rear brakes are not doing their share of the work. Try this: Put the park brake on, and then drop the trans into drive, and give it a bit of gas. If the vehicle moves at all, the rear brakes need adjusting. This is a very common problem.

Hi, can you tell me how to reset the change engine oil light on my 2002 GMC Sierra 4X4 1500 PU. I changed the oil two weeks ago. Thanks, Gene

with key on engine off depress accel pedal 3 times within 5 secs. You may have to repeat the procedure several times for the reset procedure to complete. dont stomp on the pedal. Slowly depressing seems to work best.
