1991 sable dash lights go out

THE CAR HAS LIKE 50+ ELECTRICS DEVICES,
ONE IS HEAD LAMPS THAT WORK KEY OFF DO THEY
IF NOT FIX DEAD HEAD LAMPS FIRST. FUSES.
IS STATER MOTOR DEAD
IS ENGINE DEAD
IS TRANSMISSION DEAD (ENGINE RUNS)
DOES DASH HEATER BLOWER WORK
DOME LIGHTS DEAD?
BRAKE LAMPS DEAD
TURNS DEAD
PARK LAMPS FRONT AND REAR AND SIDES DEAD/.
SEE, HOW COMPLEX 12DC POWER IS? AND MORE LOTS MORE. EVEN A DEAD RADIO

just bought a car failing like this, or just happened after 31 years of bliss no problems like it.

no COUNTY TOLD ON THIS WORLD WIDE WEB, FORUM.
SORRY CARS ARE NOT THE SAME ALL OVER EARTH YET.
old 1991 last 91 I restored had 15 serious probems.
so know them well, too well really

well fix this first
headlights suddenly went off
head lamps work key off, and is super super easy to fix
this simple 1991 design
fuse marked HL.
fuse blown
head lamp switch bad,
head lamps high beam fail too???
high beam flasher dead too?????
blinkers fast means blinkers feed is shorted.
but the hazards say not.

seems to me the whole multi function switch is bad.
gee are not all 91s like that, most are, now.

always fix head lamps bad first. it is childs play simple
no BCM brain here to pull out, hair,
a fuse, a switch and a lamp

Hello first start by opening your engine hood rite behind your head lamp pot is a plug socket simply twist counter clock wise and socket will come out remove bulb and replace turn clock wise to tighten up turn head lights on to check that new bulb works both high and low beam you have now changed your head lamp bulb and restored your lights

which lights work? headlights? tailamps? dash lights? radio lights? Interior lamps?
turn suignals? flashers? Brake lights?

THE PROBLEM IS THE DASH LIGHT DIMMER CONTROL IS EITHER TURNED OFF OR THE DIMMER IS DEFECTIVE, HAVE SEEN BOTH. THE DIMMER IS NEXT TO THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH

Check the dimmer rheostat position beside the headlight switch its been turned down scroll the little wheel upwards.

From what you just said i dont belive the mechanic checked your fuses correctly.

Check your self to confirm, But if no avial i belive the controller for your lighting may be fried.

There is a tiny little peanut shaped light bulb inside the radio that provides the light for the dial, it is replaceable, you will need to remove the radio, then pull the top cover off the radio chassis, the bulb is under the cover.

What year is this vehicle? It might have an ambient light sensor that has failed if it's 90's+,but older it's most likely the dimmer switch. If it's early 80's you should be able to replace it w/o having to removed the dash,just small panel cover nearby.

Bad solders in DRL relay located left side of steering column below change drawer behind dash. It will be indicated with a stamp DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY. Remove it and redo the solders to the relay contacts in the unit. This will fix the DRL light in dash, return the DRL system to functioning and will also fix headlight not working problem.
