Hi. I think you bought a new scan tool. No Problem. 7E8 and 7E9 are subcategories for the engine and transmission. Scroll down some more. OBD2 engine codes will always start with "P". Example: P0300- Random misfire. Good Luck.
7E8 and 7E9 these are not codes what they are are system 7E8 is for the engine powertrain and 7E9 is for the transmission powertrain.
