Customers car was driving down the street when they heard a "pop" and the car suddenly stalled. When I arrived, I noticed the fuel pump was not priming. I found that the fuel safety cut off switch had tripped. I reset it and the fuel pump started working but the car still would not start. I towed to my shop and it has codes for CMP sensor circuit failure. I noticed the CKP sensor was totally cooked and falling a part. So, I replaced both of them. The car also has a code for MAF sensor low voltage. I check for clogged air filter, cleaned the already impeccably clean MAF sensor.. no change. Also getting a code for Bank 1 catalytic below efficiency. and bank 1 sensor 2 beyond maximum threshold. I have yet to do anything about them because, except when COMPLETELY clogged.. I doubt that a cat would prevent a car from starting. I'm not sure where to go from here.. I am not familiar with any procedure on how to test the MAF, if there is a test. I checked wiring for wear/corrosion, none to be found. A friend of mine with a Tiburon had the same issue with his CKP, ended up having to replace the toothed wheel that the sensor reads along with the sensor.. I don't understand how a toothed wheel inside the crank case could ever become damaged/need to be replaced but, if it happens, it happens.
That's a pretty RELIABLE code!... You have a bad CAT (Catalytic Converter). Trust it to be accurate. The conditions which set this code is when the Upstream O2 sensor's data/signal is compared to the Downstream sensor's data/signal... when they are nearly identical, that's when this code is set (unless you have an exhaust leak).. If there is an exhaust leak.. repair it, then retest/recheck.

i would check ur fuses that supply voltage to ur o2 sensors, their in the fuse box and usually r labeled o2 sensr. sounds like the o2 sensrs dont have power

So, I preplaced CKP, CMP sensors and bank 1 cat. No start. The coils are not producing any spark. Where do I go from here?
I found something about "igntion failure sensor" but I can't find a picture of it on the 2.7ltr V6
I measured the resistance of the coils.. my service manual says they should measure ~.6ohms on the primary winding.. I was reading 2.6-4ohms depending on the coil. the green wire connecting to the coils is getting battery voltage when the ignition is turned to the on position. so I replaced the coils. Still getting no spark.
