Find where the fuel line is and push on the gas pedal then have someone stand by the engine bay to see where the gas is coming out and simple as that put some automotive rubber tape on it or replace the whole fuel line that's not my best answer but try it to see if it works.

My Daewoo Lanos would not start just turning.

Question edited for correct spelling of make and model. Question edited into written English. Question moved to make model category.

When you replaced the petrol pump, did you disconnect the battery like the service manual tells you too? If you disconnected the battery for any reason, the security system and immobilizer needs to be reset. The link between the chip in the key and the ECM has been broken.

5-speed manual. Why no power from the ignition to the motor?

In a Suzuki of that age (assuming you have the OHC engine), the most likely culprit is a broken timing belt.

I add diesel in petrol engine (Rx 400h) and started driving. Now it doesn't fire the engine. What should I do now?

hi,
we have read your problem and understood that your engine is not starting now.please call a local repairman to drain all the diesel and clean the engine carburetor using petrol only.

i make it clear that the engines for petrol and diesel are totally different since the chemical combination of the liquids are also different.they are different like chilli sauce and tomato sauce.diesel cannot be used in petrol engines since they are designed to burn only petrol.i believe you have understood the facts and the differences between the engines of petrol and diesel.thank you, have nice day

I have a bmw 316i i have 30 to 40 miles worth of petrol inside the petrol tank and the car rev metre goes up and down and cars engine shuts down completely and it wont start untill it has quarter of a tank...

That sounds like the petrol pickup pipe in the tank has an air leak and when the fuel is dropping down below the leak it is sucking in more air than petrol.
The most likely cause of that is either the gauge sender untit or the fuel pump itself leaking (if the fuel pump on that car is inside the tank).

Petrol filler flap stuck in locked position

Sounds like the solenoid is defective, but the petrol cap can be opened by opening the boot and putting your hand down the side of the back panel (petrol cap side). You should be able to feel the solenoid and on the back there is a lever that can be pulled out which will release the petrol cap latch.

Nissan primera saloon 2002 1.8cc, petrol. Light and arrow,on petrol level control board, blinking ON and OFF , sometime does not work at all when petrol tank is not empty. I checked all fuses. Some where...

Locate your petrol tank, then at top of it there is a hole where you can get access to the float level switch, before you removed it you check the socket on it, maybe lose connection.

Knocking on petrol

its pinking which means the timing is too far advanced ,try 98 octane petrol .what year is vehicle as older engines were designed to run on higher octane petrol.like a MK2 jag or austin westminster need 101 octane.whats happening is the petrol has a lower anti knock additive than higher octane ,although the petrol is the same flame rate of burn its the amount of anti knock additive which gives it its octane value.just check timing and if a distributor is fitted ****** it a bit i would suggest 8 btdc but if still pinks on low grade then 6btdc
