The tail light cover was broken and took on water resulting in the bulb blowing. this problem surfaced after replacing the bulb.

looking at your schematics and , you say tail lights don't work , you didn't mention if front parking lights and license plate lights are working , they all come from the same source , a black /yellow wire , a good clue if front work and rear don't , please advise .if fronts work then you have a open circuit somewhere between junction S118 (near breakout for left headlamp) and rear sockets.

I found the problem on my Dodge Ram van.. The button for the hazard lights was bad.. I tuned on the hazard lights and only had one side, so i jiggled it and the other side came on. Then I pushed in the hazard button to turn them off and proceeded to check the brake lights, the still did not work so I again jiggled the hazard button and whaaalaaa the brake lights would flicker on and off.. I have a piece of cardboard pushing the button to the side to hold pressure on it keeping my brake light connection until I can get me a new hazzard switch.. Hope this helps..

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

check your brake swithc it is up above brake pedal
SOURCE: no power to tail lights or license plate light.
check the fuse with a test light on both sides of the fuse,
next would be the headlight switch.
