There are two separate fuses for the auxiliary plugs. One for the lighter in the fuse box under the hood, and one labeled aux plugs in another fuse box under the back seat on the driver side. I had the same thing happen to me and the yellow 20 amp fuse under the back seat was the problem. Look there first.

Where is the Auxiliary fuse box in a 1999 ML 320?

No wonder you are having difficulty. Below offers the following opinions: 1) It is not on the passenger side foot well. 2) It is on the passenger side. 3) It does not exist. 4) You are really looking for the auxilary relay in the kick panel above the pedals. This is so laughable you are going to have to depend upon your lying eyes. My apologies in advance. I think part of the problem is that there was a change in the model in 1999 that is not picked up on in some sites. I will have to step back and let your own eyes find the truth of the matter. Below offers a lot of contradictions.

1999 MLs in the US did not have the aux fuse box in the passenger side foot well in spite of what you are told here: https://www.mercedesmedic.com/1998-2005-benz-ml320-ml350-ml500-fuse-box-location-diagram/ and in spite of what the manual says. Notice you don't find two plastic screws in the purported position.

The auxiliary relay panel is located above the lower kick panel above the pedals.

Maybe this will help: https://fuse-box.info/ The main fuse box: https://www.autofuseboxdiagram.com/35889-1999-mercedes-benz-ml320-fuse-box-diagram-2/ or https://www.carfusebox.com/mercedes-benz-ml320-1999-fuse-box-block-circuit-breaker-diagram/

Note that the following site proclaimes there IS NO auxilary fuse box. https://www.benzworld.org/threads/1999-ml320-auxiliary-fuse-box-location.3059219/ while MB MEDIC shows a picture of where it purportedly is on the passenger side!: https://www.mercedesmedic.com/1998-2005-benz-ml320-ml350-ml500-fuse-box-location-diagram/auxilary-fuse-box-location/

Suburban towing package fuse box location

2005 Suburban Z71 4WD I had similar situation. No 12 volt positive to 7 trailer. Under my hood at the fuse panel, the red 12v + wire was connected to Stud # 1 which is on the left side of fuse box. There is a square fuse right next to this stud. I put a 40 amp fuse in it. I use this power to charge a battery in a trailer as I am hauling.

I need power from the lighter plug I can't get the power. I'm trying to find out if there is a fuse I can replace.

Yes,it's got a fuse. At least 15 amp, probably 20. So look in fusebox for blue fuses and amber fuses that are blown. You have probably got an auxiliary plug-in below the dash and to the right of the hump .....I went for a while before I discovered that one in my Grand Marquis.Ha! don-ohio (:^)

2003 Jeep Grand Cheeroke radiator fan runs when car is off draining battery. Could it be the relay? If yes is the relay in the fuse/relay box under the hood or under the passenger headlight?

After checking the conventional relays and fuses, we found an additional auxiliary cooling fan relay behind the front bumper. Once replaced, all is well.

The fan relay is likely shorted and keeping the fan motor energized; to check this you can remove the relays from the fuse panel... remove the cooling fan rely from the underhood PDC (Power Distribution Center). Fot this and additional fuse details, check this link: wjjeeps.com/fuses.htm

Hope helps.

I am trying to figure out which relay is for the front blower motor. anyone know?

Hi!!
Look ion the INSTRUMENT PANEL Fuse Box, there are two blower motor relays and two fuses, look on the inside of the relay cover for a diagram. The relay you are looking for should be labeled FRONT BLOWER MOTOR RELAY and the rear one should say AUXILIARY BLOWER MOTOR RELAY.
The TWO fuses with the same name on passenger compartment fuse box check:
  • fuse #39 30A fuse. AUXILIARY BLOWER MOTOR
  • fuse #36 30A fuse. AUXILIARY BLOWER RELAY

Where is the fuse box located? my tail lights don't work, but my brake lights do....also, my signals went out and my dash light went out..

The fuse panel contains fuses which protect the various electrical systems. Also included are the turn signal and hazard flashers, and the chime module. The panel is usually located under the dash on the left hand side near the kick panel. There may also be an auxiliary fuse panel in the engine compartment.

The Power Distribution Center contains relays and fuses which further protect the electrical systems. It is usually located under the hood on the right side of the engine compartment.

Fuses and relays are replaced by simply unplugging the defective unit and inserting a new one. Ensure the ignition is OFF when replacing any fuse or relay.

Also can check here the Jeep-XJ-Cherokee-Comanche-Service-Manual

Hope help with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.
