Ac air blows on bottom or window only

depends how you are starting the ac .Always on starting the ac when weather is hot the first step is to start car ac fully down all the windows in order the ac blow push out the hot air in the cabin out and this will also do whilst driving either. When you notice that the air in cabin gets cooler then you wind up your windows. Depends also have the correct gas in the ac system. and the ac temperature sensor works ok.

check for a bad vacuum hose from engine to cowl area of vehicle

Yes, you have a vacuum line that has come off, cracked or broke somewere under your hood. It's possible under dash vacuum diaphragm could be bad, but not likley....hope this helps you??

Should be at the bottom of the engine, between the engine and radiator.

Bad resistor on A/C condensator.

After removing glove box, you will see door on a black box that secured by 2 screws (top and bottom) After opening that door it will come out with resistor that looks like a card. Replace it, and it should fix it.

the dealer is right, replace cycling switch, and look for cracked ac/heat case

check or loss of vacuum to mode control switch in dash ac control. these are not blend doors, they are air flow control, a blend door controls the air temperature not where it comes out.

AC system appears low on charge

On the bottom of the air unit is the lever that changes temps. It likes to fall out of place.I propped mine back with a piece of half-inch copper pipe a couple of years ago.Remove glove box then panel on front side of console to access.
