It is possible to reprogram a CPU but it will need a specialist with a computer to get it right . It is not a job for a back yarder or every day mechanic.

If I replaced the PCM on the 2005 dodge ram truck would I have to reprogram the keys to make the truck run?

If you key has a chip in it, you will probably have to get your ECM reprogrammed with the proper VIN, since it no longer matches the original VIN on your Vehicle. I don't think the dealer would program your keys to a mismatched VIN number, so more than likely you will need your ECM reprogrammed with the proper VIN. This will need to be taken to the Dodge Dealership to be fixed.

2004 PACIFICA WONT START SERVICE IMMOBILIZER LIGHT ON VEHICLE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING

OK, if the vehicle won't start and the service immobilizer light is on then I would definitely take it to the dealer in order to have the key programmed to the computer, again.

Did the battery go dead lately? Is there a code associated with it not starting, as in the immobilizer function lamp?

or the key is not programmed to the ecm?

P0633 Immobilizer Key Not Programmed ECM/PCM
This is just a possibility to look into.

Remote key wont work on my chryler 300 2006

IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE REMOTE FOR THE DOOR LOCKS ETC, IT COULD BE A DEAD BATTERY IN THE REMOTE,OR IF IT HAS NOT WORKED SINCE YOU HAD IT & OR HAS A GOOD BATTERY, IT COULD BE THE CHIP IN THE REMOTE HAS GONE BAD,OR WAS NEVER PROGRAMED TO THAT CAR,BUT IF YOU ARE SAYING THE KEY WILL NOT CRANK THE CAR IT HAS PROLLY LOST IT'S PROGRAM FOR THE SECURITY SYSTEM IN THE CARS ECM,IN THAT CASE YOU WILL HAVE TO EITHER TRY TO HAVE A PROFESSIONAL REPROGRAM THAT KEY& USUALLY IT WILL NOT TAKE IT, & YOU WILL NEED A NEW KEY MADE & PROGRAMED TO THE CAR, AND ANOTHER POSSIBLE IS THAT SOMEBODY TRIED TO UNLOCK THE CAR WITH A SLIM JIM,ETC, AND DEAD LOCKED THE CAR IN THAT CASE THE DEALER HAS TO REPROGRAM THE CARS SECURITY SYSTEM,& ECM.
