The alternator fuse is screwed on from the bottom up inside the fuse box. To remove the alternator fuse, you have to unscrew the whole fuse box from the car and on the bottom of the box are more screws to open the box. Once its open you will see one or two little screws holding the alternator fuse in place, easy. Unless you buy the manual for the car, you'll have to break one to pieces trying to get it out, to figure out how to do it, like i did.

2011 ram 1500 alternator blew, replaced alternator battery 3 fuses in fuse box still wont crank over,

If the alternator produced too many volts for a long time, it may have damaged the ECU, causing a no start issue but it may be just an issue with the anti theft device due to replacing the battery.

Alternator not charging...took off had checked...said it was fine,...replaced battery and next day same problem ....cant find an in line fuse anywhere .

Sounds to me like a loose battery connection, there wont be a line fuse for an alternator, if not a loose lead, then possibly a broken earth strap onto the engine, check security and condition of all battery leads, and eliminate any corrosion on battery terminals

an easy way to fInd out how to fIx thIs Is one. wIl tue vehIcle start at all? If It wIll than start the car and carefully take the posItIve cable off the battery and see If the vehIcle dIes. Cant find where the 80 amp fuse or fusible link is in my kia for the charging system or alternator

It should be located in the fuse box under the hood of the car. If you have the owners manual, it sould tell witch one it is.

The alternator fuse is BOLTED onto the power feed bar under/inside the fuse box; you cannot pull it out; you have to remove the top/bottom of the fuse box to gain acccess to the bolt that holds the fuse to the big metal bar that branches power to the other fuses.
