Po335, engine ligt on, slip and vdc brake light on 2005 armada

Quit guessing and have ABS codes read. Symptoms would be indicative of a bad wheel sensor which often fail with hub/CV failures.

This is a common problem but tends to be related to the engine. Is the engine light on too? If so please have the codes read. Often a faulty crank or cam positioning sensor will cause this problem. If the engine light is not on. A scantool will be needed to look for stored codes related to the brake systems. Hope this helps. Write back if there is anything else. Good luck.

If the Cam sensor is bad or the wiring or connections are bad it can cause a no run situation . What are your code numbers ?

Did you ever bleed the brakes?.

It sounds like you could have a problem as simple as the transmission speed sensor, or something more troublesome as a faulty management computer or ground issue in the dash harness. Hopefully your Nissan is under warranty because an intermittent problem can be very troublesome to trace down.

I have a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder, the VDC light and the "Slip" light came on the dash, and the slip light was coming on while i was driving at the speed of 20 mph

Are you sure it was the crank sensor that you replaced? The cam and crank sensors look identical. Was the engine hard or slow to start? If so, this will sometimes set this code.

Sounds like it time to do the brake pads. That is the most likeliest to be the problem. If you have done the brakes it is possible that the clips that holds the pad in place might have slipped or the anti squeal mechanism is hitting the this rotor when the brakes are applied. PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT BEFORE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE COULD RESULT IN A DEADLY CRASH!

the vdc off can result because the steering input sensor needs to be re calibrated with the nissan consult2 .
the vehicle dynamic control uses input from the abs,vehicle speed sensor,air bag sensor,yaw sensor and steering angle input sensor.

I would take the car to almost any auto parts store and ask them to check the ODB II computer for codes and to reset the "Check engine light". Get the code that they tell you and it should go a long way to pointing you in the right direction to fixing this problem. It might also be that when you pumped the brakes that you somehow set a code in the computer from the ABS system and now that you have the brakes pumped up and working correctly resetting the Check engine light might fix your problem.
