SOURCE: 626 won't start no spark

Distributor fault, the coil goes down in tyhem and sometimes pops the ECU.

SOURCE: timing on mazda

get number one piston up on top dead centre, remove the distributor cap and check the rotor to see if it is pointing to the number one post on the distributor cap, if not you may have to turn the distributor to line it up or remove it and reset it in the block.
That should get it to start then you will have to put a timing light on it to set it to specs.
I am assuming it is a petrol motor as these instructions are for petrol engines

Will not start replaced distributor and starter and it's getting fuel

Sounds like you slipped a gear tooth on the distributor or sheared the pin. Check the timing with a timing light. Bet you are off some 25 degrees.

I have a 1994 mazda 626 and it loses power while driving until it dies. it has new battery and alternator

This sounds like the distributor. It is a very common problem with these cars.

Have you checked the fuel pressure? It sounds like a bad fuel pump.

1994 4 door mazda 626 need to locate where the water pump is on this car

The water pump is located at the front of the engine ( where the timing belt is) To replace it you will need to remove the timing belt covers and the belt. If you have not tackled this sort of problem before i would recommend you purchase a workshop manual ( Haynes or similar) and that will show you the correct way to do it. Best of luck.

Distributor timing is off

there are 2 ways you can set the timing... the right way and the lazy way... if you do not have access to a timing light grab a friend you can trust... have them put the parking brake on and power brake of lug the motor (holding the brake and giving it gas) at the base of your dist. there should be a bolt of nut. loosen the bolt or nut and turn dist until it just starts to knock and back it off a little bit... and retighten nut or bolt... that should get you close enough... a timing light is still the most accurate and best way to set it but this also works its just more dangerous ie: getting ran over
