I'm considering importing a 1999 Nissan Cedric Gran Turismo 2.5L from Japan to the UK. It has a (factory-fit Panasonic?) combined sat-nav/entertainment/climate screen display. Will the sat-nav work in the UK? Do I simply need to get a compatible disc from NIssan UK... Or is there more to it than that?
As long as you have the software to load into it will work.
There is no reason why it cannot work in the U.K. because it picks up info from the satalite but a disc would make life easier. The best way is to ask the vendor because nav system is an expensive component.
