i've actually had this issue with one of my cars. there are tiny spray nossles, that can pivot, from which the water shoots out of to hit the windshield. you need to find something slim and sharp like a bobby pin and place the tip into the exit hole where the water shoots out. gently pivot the nossle towards the area where you want the water to hit the wind shield. be careful not to push the pin too much into the nossle. you may warp the nossle tip and the water my spray out in an undesireable fashion.

Undue the hoses to the sprayers and then try to use the sprayer, if you get fluid it means the spray jets are plugged up, If no water do you here the washer motor running? if not check the fuse for the washer motor it is located in the fuse box and is marked. If the fuse is good and you here no washer pump pumping or no humming you will need to replace the windshield washer motor. If you here the washer motor running you may have a plugged filter, also check to see if there is any water under the hood the water hose to the washer may have come off or broke off.
