Brake lamp is on every time i start the car.
Look under dash at the top of your brake pedal. See the button switch, that the pedal pushes in. Push in and out by hand a few times. Put a dab of oil on your finger, put on button, and push in a few times by hand
Usually that is for the emergency brake. Put it on and off a few times and see if that fixes the problem. The switch under the dash on your brake peddle is for your stop lights so that has nothing to do with the dash light that says "brake". It is not the "abs" light is it? That means the sensors on the wheels are corroded from salt and shorting out. They need to be cleaned or replaced.
I agree with D G, hand brake switch possibly sticking. If the brake light is yellow the problem is in the ABS system, if the light on the dash is red it needs attention urgently. Check the fluid level in the brake reservoir if low, either your brake pads are worn, which drops the fluid level till the red warning light comes on, or you may have a brake fluid leak. If a leak it is dangerous to drive. Either way I recommend you repair the problem before driving. Brake problems are not to be taken lightly, that's why the manufacturer has warning lights on the dash to alert you.

SOURCE: brake lamp light
Two things spring to mind, first your front pad wear indicators are telling you the pads are down to their limit and second and most important it could be a drop in the fluid level in the master cylinder, if it is a drop in the fluid level this would indicate a leak somewhere, the usual place is a rear wheel cylinder.
It would be wise to get this checked out quickly because if it is a rear wheel cylinder it is very simple to replace and not terribly expensive, also if you get it done quickly you will reduce the chance of brake fluid contamination on the rear brake shoes which will mean replacing them as well.

I know this sounds silly but did you check your bulbs? does it say brake lamp or brake>?
SOURCE: Brake light in the dash stays on all the time. Not
Check the third brake lamp. See if it's still good.
SOURCE: why is the brake lamp
You either have a blown brake bulb, your handbrake indicator is stuck or you brake master cylinder is low on fluid.
SOURCE: Brake lamp light on dash won't go off.
check your brake fluid level also check to see if one of your bulbs are out

On some models this can also mean your pads are low. But I am sticking with the emergency brake solution as the number one solution.
