Replaced fuel pump has a different relay plug diffarnt colar wires
Go online and search for a service manual...there are many sites for this.

Check in relay box on passenger side near firewall for fuel pump relay.
By -pass, no such luck that I' aware of, sorry.

The wires should be grey, orange and black, purple, and a black wire. The purple goes to purple, grey to gray. The orange and black goes to the small black wire on your car harness and the black goes to the bigger black.

before you drop tank again, check fuses & relay.then disconnect fuel line @ filter turn key to on position should hear fuel pump run and get gas stream out of line. if no flow from line new pump faulty be sure & remove negative battery cable first good luck.

Well if theres power going to the relay but not out, then you need a new relay. If theres power in and out of the relay, you might need a new fuel pump. The electric fuel pumps inside the tank are actually lubricated by the fuel as it pumps it, and if it runs dry long enough, it can burn out the pump

I've run into new pumps that didn't work. If there is power at the pump and it is not pumping, then the pump should be replaced, again (under warranty).
