make sure that all 4 tires have the right air pressure, my sienna also needed brake pads all around, air pressure was off by as much as 5 lbs. I also cleaned the abs sensor at the wheel point, put everything back togheter and it seems that it solved my problem. thank you for all the support

Sounds like it looses wheel sensor signal from the front left wheel, thinking its slipping. either a defective wheel sensor or loose connection somewhere on/in the wires between wheel sensor and control unit

If the vehicle did not have this condition before the brake pads were replaced, then one of the brake sensors either on the left or right side is not connected, not mounted correctly or has debris in the notches causing a false wheel spin condition. Double check the connections and mounting on the sensors. Use a code reader that is ABS compatible, and check for trouble codes associated with the brake system. The vehicle will not accelerate if the ABS system is sending a false wheel spin condition, that is how the vehicle is controlled during a spin, the accelerator is backed off automatically to allow the vehicle to straighten itself out.

I have a 98 Oldsmobile Intrigue the code c1226 and c1233 what does these codes mean.the track off ,anti-lock,service soon light are on what does this mean

C1226 Right Front Excessive Wheel Speed Variation
C1233 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Input Signal Missing
You could have a bad sensor on the left front wheel or bad wiring. Have it checked by a mechanic. Your anti-lock braking system is probably disabled under these conditions.

Trac light came on on a left turn about 10 mph it flash and it beep and lock my front left wheel

Senor issues. Car thinks it is slipping. Pull the fuse for the TCS and see if that clears code and make your car derivable. If not, then try disconnecting the battery for 10-20 minutes. Otherwise, take it the dealer.

Steering wheel Lock When Driving

If you can still turn the wheel when this happens, the problem is usually with the power steering pump or the steering rack. First step would be to check the engine serpentine belt to make sure it is not slipping - if there is any sign of cracking or wear, replace it. If it seems loose, check the belt idler - it may be warn out and sticking.

Wen I began driving my 2000 ford focus zx3.and reaches speed of twenty MPH my abs indicator light comes on and my left front ABS begins to engage itself to attempt to stop my car. This situation continues...

If the abs light comes on before the front wheel starts acting crazy then it sounds like a different problem..Because when the abs light comes on it turns the system off..it shouldnt activate while the lights on..Check out that wheel and make sure there is no other problems

When you are talking about "indicators" we could assuming that your are refer about signal lights. This work with "flashers" devices.

Hello, with all 4 wheels off the ground, engine running and in gear only 3 wheels are turning. The right front does not. is this normal?

Unless you have a positraction rear differential, I'm surprised that even three are turning! Four wheel drive is really two wheel drive because both differentials are "open" type. In an open diff, only one wheel has power at any given time. With a positraction, or "limited slip" rear diff, both rear wheels push with fairly even force but the outer wheel is allowed to slip when going around turns. Only true four wheelers have either a limited slip on both ends or "locked" units but it is impossible or really difficult to drive anything like that on the street. If you hold the left front wheel from turning unless the locking unit is broken, the right front should turn.

Differetial locks for 94 land cruiser

91-97 Land Cruisers had a factory option for front and rear locking differentials. This is a seperate switch and is usually located to the left of US model Land Cruisers. The center dash button locks your transfer case differential changing your Land Cruiser from all wheel drive to four wheel drive depending if you have ABS or not this button either says ECT or Center Dif Lock. If you do not have the Front/Rear locking differential option then your Land Cruiser has open Front and Rear. Hope this answers your question.
