IT may be a faulty ac clutch coil (shorted out or wire touching the earth ). Have it tested and if that is the case then clutch pack coils can be bought and fitted without removing the compressor or opening the gas side .

SOURCE: 89 firebird blows fuse that powers fuel pump and ecm?

That joint & where wires separate, would be a good spot to use a clamp on amp meter, if you have, or know someone who has one, then you could get reading on each one, and zero in on one(s) with most draw.

SOURCE: fuel pump fuse blowing

replace the fuel pump, it is drawing to much current, this is common when the pump bearings get worn out, also make sure you replace the fuel pump connector at the fuel tank connection, it will be burnt..

88 toyota pick up v6 keeps blowing efi fuse

you may have a short of some kind, when a fuse blows repeatedly it is no good just replacing, you are being told that something is wrong with the equipment.
You will almost certainly have to visit a technician for a diagnosis. It is unlikely to be something that an inexperienced end user can sort out I am afraid.

GOOD LUCK

2004 Pontiac Montana a/c fuse blows as soon as u put it in . Blows hot air only

If the fuse blows as soon as you turn the A/C on, the compressor clutch has failed (shorted). Simple repair.

If the fuse blows as soon as you put the fuse in without the A/C on, you have a physical short in your wiring.

FUSE KEEPS BLOWING

It sounds like the A/C compressor clutch is shorted. You will need to have the clutch and / or the complete compressor replaced.

I have a 1995 ford mustang that keeps blowing the maxi fuse #11 as soon as i turn the key over the pump kicks on then instantly blows the fuse

I would pull the fuel pump relay and check the circuits for shorts to ground. It could be the pump or something else.

Mazda 626 ac fuse keeps blowing

Try unplugging the compressor then put in a new fuse. If the fuse does not blow, the problem may be the clutch on the compressor.

The ac cont fuse keeps blowing on 97 lumina. If I put another fuse in it will blow as soon as the compressor turns on. If I unplug the power to the clutch and plug the power back in it will run for...

If you can unplug the compressor and put the switch in run forever and it doesnt blow then your compressor has a short in it and the car wash had nothing to do with this unless you can find water in the fuse block or relay block

Blowing 20 amp fuse

Hi that fuse should be a 25 amp and it runs the blower, heater, the day time running lamps, automatic light control and the rear defogger you would have to check each unit at a time what I would do is put a hire fuse and look for smoke on the wiring as soon as iI see whats burning I take the fuse off but you have to be quick and pull out the fuse before any thing burns if not check each unit mention and look for good luck.
