Driver seat back won't raise after its been reclined

Last night I reclined the driver seat in my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and since then I'm unable to raise the back. The motor appears to be working as I can move the seat forward and backwards, and adjust the lumbar support. I just can't raise the back of the seat.

My first thought was a blown fuse, but the other functions on the electric switch work fine - I just can't raise the back of the seat.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much! Just wanted to let you know that you were so right about the control switch. I took the car into the dealer this morning and they replaced the control switch and the problem was fixed! Thanks again for the help! You're awesome!

The control switch has developed a problem (intermittent contact or just broke inside) Replace the switch. That should fix it.

Drop out of the sale unless they fix it.

It involve removing the seat and the electrical contacts and seeing what has come adrift on that function.
