    you just open the scrowes on top, and slide the headlight out. Replace the bulps and thats it. I chanced xenonlights to my own. cost undef 200$ with all the parts.

pop the hood. locate two long metal pins - one goes in horizontally, one goes in vertically. Pull the pins and the assembly comes out. remove top rubber cover. Unplug bulb. Remove. Replace. Repeat.

Well according to my mitchell manuel you don't have to.here is the procedure.
1. open the hood.
2.Remove the push-pin retainer's that secure the top of the upper facia and grill assembly to the upper tie bar to allow the upper facia and grill assembly to flex forward.
3. remove ther bolt and push-pin retainer that secures the top of the headlight assembly to the upper tie bar.
4. Gently pull the upper facia and grill assembly forward to access the bolt on the inboard side of the headlight assembly
5. Pull the headlamp assembly straight out to disengage the the snap in retainer at the lower outboard back surface of the assembly. Turn the assembly so that the inboard assembly clears the front facia.
6. pull the assembly out and away from the veh.From there you'll be able to access bulbs.
be careful not to touch the bulb with fingers or oil in skin will blow bulb.

go to auto parts store or retail store to get a tool called panel popper. it has 2 prongs shaped like a wrench on a shaft (like a screw driver). check panel for screws to remove and after remove screws, use panel popper to pry the panel up. put the panel popper near the plastic tabs that hold the door in place.

Although some 2007 Cadillac DeVille models may be equipped with non-serviceable LED (Light Emitting Diode) taillights, the headlights on all models are standard halogen bulbs. These are simple to replace, even on a high-tech car such as the DeVille. Use only the GM-recommended replacement bulbs for your Cadillac; installing other bulbs, if they fit at all, could cause problems.
Step 1 Turn the engine off. Open the hood to access the headlight casing.
Step 2 Remove the push pins that attach the protective panel (along the front of the engine bay, over the headlights). Use a screwdriver to depress the center of the push pins, and then pull them out. Pull the panel away when all of the push pins are removed.
Step 3 Remove the three bolts from the top part of the headlight casing. Push the backside of the casing forward, toward the grille.
Step 4 Grasp the edge of the headlight casing exposed above the bumper. Pull the headlight casing out carefully.
Step 5 Pry off the bulb dust cover from the rear of the casing (with the screwdriver). Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the casing.
Step 6 Pull the bulb straight away from the socket. Attach the replacement bulb. Do not touch the glass; instead, hold the bulb by its plastic connection module.
Step 7 Reinsert the bulb into the rear of the casing. Rotate it clockwise to secure it, and then push the casing back into the mount. Tighten the three bolts, with the socket wrench.
Set the plastic panel back in place. Align the holes in the panel with the push pin mounting holes in the engine bay. Replace the push pins; push down on the outside rim of the pins to secure them.

The easiest way to change them is to remove the 3 bolts that hold the headlight in place, 1 is directly on top of the headlight, 1 can be seen thru the upper radiator support(of course be sure to remove the plastic engine compartment covers if they are installed), and the 3rd is hidden underneath the front bumper cover, to remove the front bumper cover, move aside the inner wheel well panel nearest the sidemarker lights, pull the bumper cover off slighty fron a plastic snap lock that lines up the bumper with the fender, you should see the bolt as soon as you pull the bumper cover. Each bolt is a 10mm patern so I recommend a small ratchet with extension, once you remove the bolts, the headlights come right off. You might have a rubber cover over where the headlight bulbs are located, simlpy unscrew it, or pull it off whatever your vehicle has, I believe the bulb type is H7, its a standard low-beam bulb, keep in mind the passengerside headlamp is attached to the windshield washer refill reservoir which snaps in and out of place. How to change front headlight lowbeam.
Pretty straight forward. Open hood. Pull up on plastic cover over the headlight your going to fix. Low beam is the outside bulb. Rotate bulb counter clockwise ~1/4 turn and pull out. Reverse procedure to replace. Nuttin' to it!! Make sure that the old bulb comes out with an o-ring at the base. I usually have to remove it manualy. The new bulbs have new o-rings attatched.

To replace the headlight bulb on your cts, it is kinda a pain. You pretty much have to take the whole front bumper off. First remove all of the push pins that hold the air deflector on the bottom. Next remove the pushpins that hold the grille to the tie bar. Now remove the front fascia extension. Remove the bolts that hold the bumper to the fender. Once all the bolts are out that hold the bumper on, you gently pull out on the bumper, but be careful not to crack it. If the windshield washer hoses are connected to it then you need to disconnect them, but you may want to plug the line so you don't loose all the washer fluid. Next there are two bolts and a nut that you remove to take the headlight out, and remove the connectors that go to it.
